The more things change, the more they stay the same. The 11th annual Life Is Beautiful Festival kicked off on Friday, but the downtown Las Vegas staple looked a little different this year. In previous iterations, the festival has taken over 18 city blocks of downtown Las Vegas — located about five miles south of the famed Strip —but organizers switched it up this year, opting instead for a two-day “Big Beautiful Block Party” near the original site. Due to the smaller footprint, stages sat side by side, and sets didn’t overlap.

Beginning today, Meet Cute will make five hit rom-com shows available exclusively on Wondery . These top-performing audio shows include Mile High, Exes for End Times, Dump Him!, Kerri, and Christmasuzannukkah, and highlight the unexpected ways love shows up in our modern lives. James Blake, dance producer turned melancholic experimental songwriter, is prepping for a new album to be released on Friday, January 18th. Assume Form, Blake’s first full-length since 2016’s The Colour In Anything, promises to be a higher profile affair than his previous records, and finds the English producer and singer recruiting collaborators from the hip-hop world to add new textures to his work.

On the album’s latest single, “Mile High,” Travis Scott repays the favor Blake paid him on Astroworld‘s “Stop Trying To Be God,” showing up for a guest appearance.

James Blake enlisted Outkast’s André 3000, Travis Scott and producer Metro Boomin for his upcoming fourth album, Assume Form, out January 18th via Republic Records. The record also features guest spots from singer-songwriters Moses Sumney and Rosalía.

The 12-track Assume Form, which follows 2016’s The Colour in Anything, will include “Don’t Miss It,” one of two new songs he issued in 2018. The other, “If the Car Beside You Moves Ahead,” does not appear on the LP.

You might not expect Colorado to be the place to be this New Years Eve – that is, unless you’ve got your finger on the pulse of Edm. Denver massive Decadence Nye has revealed its first wave of lineup announcements for those ringing in the New Year in the Mile High City, and quite frankly I wouldn’t have expected Global Dance (or its parent company, Aeg Live, for that matter) to give it this big of a budget.

A series of farcical lineup announcement memes almost stole the show this time around, but the actual entertainment roster still managed to deliver tenfold. Hardwell, deadmau5 and Jack Ü hold down the top tier of this year’s lineup for the first time. Always looking to stay healthy, Lena Dunham recently became an avid runner, having overcome a long history of disdain for the activity.

On Wednesday (July 29) the “Girls” actress posted a shutterbug’s snapshot of her out for a job via Instagram, admitting that she’s come around to appreciate a brisk jaunt.

The English actor and martial artist, Scott Adkins, has expressed his desire to work with bollywood actor Vidyut Jammwal. Scott is reportedly impressed by Vidyut’s action scenes and wants to collaborate with him on a project.

In an recent meeting with Sunil Rodrigues, one of B-Town’s action directors, Scott made a reference to Vidyut and revealed that he had seen Vidyut’s film Commando and his videos online. The surprised action director took Twitter to share about Adkin’s reference to Vidyut.

Jammwal is also looking thrilled to be on Scott’s radar. He says, “It feels great to have my action scenes recognised and appreciated by an incredible international action star like Adkins.
