Trivia
Kane is named for the Biblical Cain, the first murderer in the world. Seth is named after Cain's brother (the one he didn't kill). The King James translation of the Genesis text states that after killing Abel, Cain fled and lived "in the land of Nod" which is in fact a mistranslation of "in the land, wandering." The mistake has given many poets and romanticists the idea for stories about a mysterious country called Nod.

Goofs
An oversight by Westwood Studios had General Sheppard's last name officially spelled as both "Shepherd" and "Sheppard" within the Command & Conquer manual.

Alternate versions
For the German version all human soldiers had to be replaced by cyborgs (resulting in some goofs in the video-sequences and some logic-goofs f.e. the cyborgs getting poisoned by the tiberium).

Outstanding RTS

This video game pioneered the real time strategy genre and brings you into a fantasy sci fi world where the world is overrun by a substance called tiberium. This valuable but toxic substance is the essence of the game and makes for a very stimulating narrative. In the midst of this mysterious compound overtaking the world is the war between the terrorist group - the brotherhood of Nod led by the enigmatic Kane and the "good guys" - the Global Defence Initiative (GDI).

The game is propelled by an awesome soundtrack and engaging live action cutscenes. The acting is phenomenal and draws you into the story. A must-watch/play.
