- TriviaOn 1 April 1957, a news segment was broadcast about the Swiss Spaghetti Harvest with footage of Swiss peasants harvesting spaghetti strands from spaghetti trees. Many viewers were taken in and phoned in asking how to grow their own spaghetti trees; they received the reply "place a sprig of spaghetti in a tin of tomato sauce and hope for the best." It was considered one of the best April Fools' hoaxes of all time.

Featured review
The show has a good reputation simply because it is led by the BBC, but in its quest to provide so-called good journalism, in matters of foreign policy it can be extremely biased.
When exploring non-domestic affairs, the show will often cherry pick who it interviews and go in search of what will define controversy. In its domestic affairs, it can often become undecided though often leans towards a right-wing bias lacking authenticity and any form of impartial stance.
