The studio where this show was filmed - Balthane Film Studio - was also used in Thomas and the Magic Railroad (2000). Balthane Film Studio, also called Bell Theann Studio, was converted from warehouses on the Balthane Industrial Estate in Ballasalla, Isle of Man, and operated by J.R. Creer, Ltd. After the studio closed in 2002, it was turned into a workshop.
During filming, the crew stayed at the Mount Murray Hotel and Country Club in Santon, Isle of Man.
The smaller sets were filmed at a hangar at Jurby Airfield in Jurby, Isle of Man.
