Doreen Boone's first role (though it's listed on IMDB as her third). She told Femme Fatales magazine she had just come to California and was sunbathing by the pool when her manager called and said she had to rush to an audition he just set up. She told him she was wet in a bikini and covered in oil, but he said just go for it. She slipped a white sundress over her bikini and went, even though she didn't even know what the part was. When she walked in, producers said, "You're perfect!" By the time she got back to her apartment they called with an offer.
Some of the sex scenes in the Justine films were shot in 3D.
Doreen Boone said she was so excited when she was offered the role that she accepted right away without realizing it required extensive nudity. She found that out later when she finally read the script. Suddenly, the thought of stripping totally naked in front of a room full of people terrified her. But the filmmakers worked with her to ease her into it. Her first scene was her and Kimberly Rowe walking into a bedroom and taking off their clothes as they chatted. Boone was very nervous but got through it. After a couple of more nude scenes, she finally started to get used to it and Rowe, who had a lot of experience being nude, really helped her with them. It wasn't long before taking her clothes off became natural. In fact, she'd stand around naked talking to other actors and the crew while shots we're being set up. In fact, she got so used to it that one day when she went from her pool to her apartment with some friends, she stripped off her bikini in front of them to toss it into the washer without thinking about it. She said the looks on their faces, especially the guys, were hilarious. She just laughed it off and went to her bedroom to dress.
Doreen Boone said Kevin Alber was her favorite director of the Justine series because he was so down to earth, especially when filming nude scenes.
