Malcolm and Christine have an argument at a restaurant, and Christine leaves. Malcolm waits to pay the bill then leaves. He sees the message "TOOK A CAB" written in the condensation on the windshield. This was supposedly written by Christine when she left, but at the beginning of the scene, before she leaves, we see a shot of the car with the message already written in the windshield.
