Bryan Hancock: [notices Grimes sitting in his yard with a shotgun on his lap] What are you doing with that shotgun?
Sheriff Grimes: I'm going to use it.
Bryan Hancock: What do you mean?
Sheriff Grimes: [takes off his sunglasses] I'm going to clean up this whole, stinking mess.
Bryan Hancock: What are you talking about?
Sheriff Grimes: [cleans his sunglasses with a cloth] Well, first, I'm going to take Jingo's shotgun here and I'm gonna kill the good doctor and I'm gonna kill his nurse, Beulah. That gets rid of two people that might open their mouths and then I'm...
[notices Hancock growing nervous and starts chuckling]
Sheriff Grimes: What is the matter, Hancock?
Bryan Hancock: You're crazy.
Sheriff Grimes: And then I'm going to produce this shotgun as evidence and I'm gonna let everybody know how Jingo lost his mind and went on a killing spree...
Bryan Hancock: You can't do that!
Sheriff Grimes: ...and then I'm gonna find the son of a bitch and I'm gonna kill HIM, too!
Bryan Hancock: If I thought you were serious, I'd turn you in myself!
Sheriff Grimes: [gets up from the chair] What did you say? I don't think I heard you.
Bryan Hancock: Stop acting like a fool, Grimes. You're not frightening me.
Sheriff Grimes: [he walks away, but turns around] You'd do that? You'd turn me in?
Bryan Hancock: If I thought you'd do that, yes, of course, I would.
Sheriff Grimes: [after a pause] You son of a bitch!
[he shoots Bryan in the face, blowing half his head off, and his body falls into a swimming pool]
