At the time of filming, Swedish actress/producer Ewa Aulin was married to British director/producer/screenwriter/songwriter John W. Shadow, and had given birth to their son Shawn Rolf John Shadow in Sion, Switzerland less than a year earlier.
In spite of the overwhelming evidence to the contrary - old newspaper and magazine articles, photos, discographies, interviews with his ex-wife Ewa Aulin, the existence of their Swiss-born son Shawn Rolf John Shadow, etc. - conspiracy theorists maintain that British musician-turned-filmmaker John W. Shadow wasn't a real person, but rather that "John W. Shadow" was a pseudonym for Italian producer Roberto Loyola - that the latter married Aulin in Tijuana, Mexico on March 21, 1968, and that he directed, produced, and wrote both the screenplay and songs (including "What Colour Is the Wind") for this film, which she starred in.
British musician-turned-filmmaker John W. Shadow wrote and performed the song "What Colour Is the Wind" for its release by Parlophone as the A-side of a single in the U.K. in 1965; however, for this Bahamian film of his, it was sung by Ronnie Jones.
British director/producer/screenwriter/songwriter John W. Shadow's production company Sound Productions Ltd. was registered in the Bahamas, which at the time of this film's production was a British Crown colony.
