The hit MGM film, The Honeymoon Machine, opened in Chicago on Wednesday, August 16, 1961, at the Essaness Woods theatre, Randoph at Dearborn. An ad reads: "A Sailor Named Fergie On The Go-Go-Go in Civvies and with the Admiral's Daughter. . . Side-Sjplitting Laughs On Top of Laughs!" The film played several weeks.
