His songs have been featured on cable series including, "Any Day Now" and his song, "One True Horse" was recorded by country music artist Michael Martin Murphey.

In 2004, Michael moved to Colorado and co-founded High Horse Video Productions with Dianne Garnett Killen. They have since produced over 300 half hour shows for Nashville based channel RFD-TV and become leaders in the production of equine based media.
