Randy grew up on the beaches and baseball fields of southern California and in the mountains and basketball courts of North Carolina as a result of his parents divorce. His father, Ralph, was a high school business teacher and accountant in Escondido. His mother, Joyce, from North Carolina, was a secretary and elementary school teacher. His older brother Perry is an art professor in San Diego. After performing plays in elementary school and high school, Randy was accepted to UCLA where he tried to join the theatre department and baseball team but was rejected from both. He dropped out after one quarter and struck out on his own in Los Angeles. In 1981, he met his acting teacher and mentor, Antony Ponzini. Through Tony, Randy met his future manager, Robert P. Marcucci. The Taylor Hackford film, The Idolmaker, was based on Robert's life as the manager of pop singers Frankie Avalon and Fabian. Bob represented Randy for over 25 years, a relationship that included four series regular jobs for Randy; Acapulco H.E.A.T., Love Boat: The Next Wave, JAG, and First Monday. Randy has done over forty plays in theaters throughout Los Angeles and appeared Off-Broadway in Jose Rivera's "Each Day Dies With Sleep" in 1990 at the famous Circle Rep Theatre, as well as a few off-off Broadway productions. In 2003, he began a successful collaboration with Mexican director Beto Gomez beginning with Punos Rosas in 2005, Saving Private Perez in 2011 and Volando Bajo in 2014. Randy has directed and produced three award winning documentaries; "Testimony: The Maria Guardado Story," about a Salvadoran woman surviving death squads in1980 and her journey to the United States; and two American Indian themed documentaries, "The Thick Dark Fog" and "Badger Creek," which have both aired on PBS. He lives with actress Marilyn Sanabria.- In 1993, nine year old Jon Paul Steuer was cast in the role of Brett Butler's son Quentin Kelly on the ABC sitcom Grace Under Fire. The pilot episode aired September 29, 1993 with actor Noah Segan playing Quentin. Jon took over the role starting in episode two. During hiatus of the second season, ten year old Jon was cast in Little Giants (1994), a comedy movie co-starring with Sam Horrigan who was then 13 years old. Jon returned to his Grace Under Fire schedule and continued on the show until the end of the third season.
In May 1996, Jon's parents abruptly pulled him from the show saying that they felt the show was not a good environment for their son, citing Brett Butler's substance abuse, frequent rehab admissions and her overt sexual behavior toward 12-year-old Jon. Brett Butler was observed flashing her breasts at him on the set. When Jon left Grace Under Fire in 1996, it was his Little Giants co-star Sam Horrigan who took over the role of Quentin Kelly.
After leaving the show, when Jon interviewed for other acting jobs, he found most casting directors only wanted to question him about what it was like to work with Brett Butler, how it was working on Grace Under Fire set and why he left the show.In April 2015, Jon told an interviewer from the internet-based newspaper website, The A.V. Club, that he thought the behavior of some casting agents was very unprofessional and that he didn't appreciate how the focus during job interviews was on Brett Butler and the show, when he was supposed to be interviewing with them for another job.
It was then that Jon Paul Steuer decided to quit acting altogether. His family moved to Denver Colorado and while finishing high school, Jon worked at several jobs.
In 2003 Jon took the stage name of Jonny P. Jewels, formed the glam punk band Kill City Thrillers with four other musicians and became the lead singer. In 2005, the band changed its name to Soda Pop Kids. The band worked consistently until November 2009 when the group decided to quit.
In 2011, Jon became the fifth member of a Portland-based punk rock group called P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S. They performed in nearby states and in 2014, the band went on a European tour. Jon remained with the band until his death.
In March 2015, Jon became partners with chef Sean Sigmon and invested in a vegan restaurant in Portland, Oregon called Harvest At The Bindery. The restaurant thrived for almost three years.
On January 1, 2018, at the age of 33, Jon Paul Steuer died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home in Portland, Oregon. The day after his death, his Harvest At The Bindery restaurant partner closed down the restaurant permanently and on January 3, 2018 it was put up for sale. - Actor

San Diego native Aaron David Roberts has been working in the film industry since his pre-teen years as a PA/Grip on his father's award winning commercial production sets. After High School, Aaron started an ambitious multi-media company, Blue Vision Entertainment, focusing on discovering and promoting unknown and independent filmmakers, musicians, artists and photographers.
He quickly learned many of his peers who found the company with him did not have the same drive and persistence as he did, and Blue Vision Entertainment focused on the one dimension of the company Aaron was running: film.
Aaron created the world of 'The Cast Members', his first Television concept, in spring of 2014 and after a successful local crowdfunding campaign, in the spring of 2016, the first Cast Members TV Pilot was filmed for $3500 and released the following year in June to over 500,000 total views and an audience of nearly 3,500 die-hard fans.
Aaron used this momentum to propel his next independent pilot project, Chartered, where in 2018 he worked with award winning and veteran TV actors like Sloane Morgan Siegel (The Goldbergs, Gortimer Gibbons), Jonathan Joss (Parks & Rec, King of the Hill) and Mark Christopher Lawrence (Chuck, Seinfeld, The Pursuit of Happyness) with a $100,000 budget.
Chartered was a 2019 semi-finalist for Comedy at the premiere independent TV festival in the US, the Catalyst Content Festival, located in Duluth Minnesota. It was during that week that Aaron set up the next venture of his career, launching a full-fledged media company and getting his first feature film made.

Jim made the transition to the entertainment industry after spending 13 years in the field of Aerospace. Among many roles during his tenure at TRW, Jim redesigned tactical mapping software relied upon by the U.S. Army and Navy and was principle in the creation and establishment of the Tactical Aircraft Mission Planning System (TAMPS) used in all fixed and rotary wing aircrafts.
Jim is a founder & former Chairman of the Advanced Imaging Society, has served on the Industry Advisory Counsel for California Polytechnic (SLO) Computer Science, serves on the Board of Directors for JumpStart, and is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
Jim was born and raised in San Diego and has lived most of his life in Southern California.- Not many people can say that they are one of the top young surfers and snowboarders, but Brock Crouch has earned that right.
Brock Crouch is a professional snowboarder who focuses on slopestyle. He was born in Carlsbad, California, but although he surfed from a young age and continues to enter surf events, he discovered his forte was on snow during a family vacation to the ski town of Mammoth Lakes.
There was no turning back after that. "I never wanted to leave Mammoth," he says. By the age of six, Crouch entered his first slopestyle and halfpipe contests with the USA Snowboard Association. He was a natural at competition, and soon he began winning contests, including the USASA Nationals. "When I was about eight, I realised, 'Whoa, I could be really good at this sport,'" says Crouch. "I started winning contests, and I was really excited about that. My coach said to me, 'You should keep doing this.' I just kept progressing every day after that."
Crouch had so much success in snowboarding from such a young age that his parents quickly realised he needed to live closer to the snow. Now he spends much of the winter living in Mammoth and travelling to contests. In the summer, he returns home to Carlsbad, where he surfs and skates as much as he can. He's scored wins and podiums in WSA and NSSA surf contests around southern California and beyond. "I love surfing and skating, but snowboarding is number one," he says. "In snowboarding, you have to be really strong."
By the time he was 11, Crouch had decided he wanted to focus on slopestyle riding. "Halfpipe was kind of boring," he says. "You just go back and forth. I had way more fun in slopestyle." In 2012, his first year focusing on slopestyle, he went undefeated in the USASA events. Now Crouch spends much of the winter travelling to contests worldwide, from the Burton European Open in Switzerland - which he won in 2014 - to the US Revolution Tour, which launches young riders to the next level.
In 2015, he landed on the podium, in third place, at the Rev Tour stop at his home mountain of Mammoth. "That felt really great, especially being at home and bringing home a medal," he says. "It's cool to see how after all the hard work, it finally pays off." Crouch left Mammoth that night, arriving in Carlsbad around 2am. He woke up at 5:30 the next morning to drive to Huntington Beach to compete in a surf contest. "It can get a little crazy, but I just remember to stay in the moment and to have fun," he says.
It's a philosophy that helped him to first place at the 2016 FIS Snowboard World Cup in Korea and will carry him to many more podium appearances in the future.
In 2018, Crouch took third in snowboarding in the Grand Prix at Mammoth Mountain. Later that year, Crouch was riding in Canada's backcountry with friends. He was first down when the ground broke, and an avalanche swallowed him. Thankfully, amazingly, his friends were quickly able to save him in time.
The road to recovery was both mentally and physically harrowing, but Crouch was not yet done with snowboarding. Two years after the near-fatal avalanche, Crouch made his triumphant return to the podium at the 2020 Dew Tour at Copper Mountain Resort. - Gavvy Cravath was born on 23 March 1881 in Escondido, California, USA.
