Don't fall for the reviews that tell you it is poorly scripted. This deserves to be a cult classic. Every scene in this movie is carefully crafted. The script carefully hides but suggests the solution to the mystery. The plot is very simple and classic. But the screenplay takes it to a great level. I won't say anyone acted bad, every character had to be very generic to maintain the mystery. The characters that mattered, they acted perfectly for each role. Anything more would have messed with the "purity". It is a good watch, great cinematography, lore building, and color grading. A good Germán spooky tale that does not draw from the stereotypical WW inspirations but recall a more ancient one.
