This aired at the same time as Drag Race Belgium and strangely I do feel the two represent different sides of the global expansion of the format. Belgium was a lot safer and a lot more consistent whereas Sweden was brasher and more dramatic. Sweden has a nastier vibe too - a lot more drama and a classically foolish attempt to stir the pot in the form of reintroducing an eliminated queen which doesn't quite go to plan. That being said, it did feel a lot flashier and fresher in comparison to Belgium, Robert Fux is a strong host and there was some serious stars in the mix. It's just a shame that it went the Down Under route of fiddling with the format.
