"Thanksgiving Story" finds a lonely Luger prying another holiday invite out of Barney, while Ed Gerrity (Tom Lacy) is brought in for stabbing his brother-in-law, Paul Powell (Kip King, first of two), with a fork over a turkey leg. He doesn't regret doing it either, as 'the bum' has been living there for nine months as a sculptor. Dietrich informs him that most great artists generally don't achieve success until after they're dead ("you almost forked him into prominence!"). Wojo and Harris bring in three mental patients running amok in an automat. The 'head shrink' (George Skaff) blames the nurse (Susan Davis, first of two), but she assures Harris that she is a 'very' giving person. The crazies are played by Ian Wolfe (first of two), Anita Dangler (first of two), and Chip Lucia.
