John B’s story is finally coming to an end. Ahead of the second half of Season 4, Netflix renewed “Outer Banks” for a fifth and final season.
The announcement comes shortly after the Los Angeles version of Poguelandia, a live fan event tied to the Netflix original series.
The OBX co-creators Jonas Pate, Josh Pate and Shannon Burke announced the renewal to their fans on Instagram, signing the letter aptly with “P4L” (Pogues for Life).

The Television Critics Association has canceled its 2025 winter tour, TheWrap has learned. The decision to cancel was made due to “deep contraction” in Hollywood.
“While several streamers, networks and studios committed, it was not enough for a full press tour. We wanted to be respectful of our members’ need to plan so, as a board, we decided on an early November deadline to make this decision,” the organization’s president, Jacqueline Cutler, said in a statement to members.
In the same email, Cutler emphasized that executives she spoke to were “exceptionally positive” about the last two press tours. “More importantly, each stressed wanting to participate in the Summer 2025 tour, and we are already working toward that,” Cutler wrote.
This is far from the first time TCA has canceled its bi-annual press tour, which has had a rocky time in recent years. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, TCA canceled its in-person...

[This story contains major spoilers from the season finale of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, “The Book of Carol.”]
After Sunday night’s season finale, Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier are set to continue on a European journey that will eventually have a next stop in Spain. And a new, post-finale teaser shows a brief glimpse at what’s in store when the The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon stars eventually get there.
The teaser (below) debuted during Sunday night’s finale of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, “The Book of Carol,” which left the recently reunited zombie-fighting travelers in a tunnel heading to London. With production on the already renewed third season now underway in Spain, the big question is: How will Daryl and Carol wind up there?
“I was ready to give up. Thought it was all over,” Daryl (Norman Reedus) tells Carol (Melissa McBride) in the teaser. “You and me both,” she replies, with as much of a smile as she can muster.

The Gilded Age Season 3 is currently in production in New York. Fans got their first glimpse of Season 3 footage in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it clip in an HBO teaser dropped on August 4, showing Bertha (Carrie Coon) and Marian (Louisa Jacobson) and more in the new episodes. And the series has slowly been announcing more new cast members as production presses on. Recent casting updates reveal that the women’s suffrage movement and Bertha’s family history will both be topics this season, and more historical figures are going to be depicted. One character description also hints that there will be scenes set in England for the very first time. Could that be because Gladys (Taissa Farmiga) marries the English Duke of Buckingham after all? The Good Wife‘s Dylan Baker, Broadway’s Kate Baldwin, Michael Cumpsty of Severance, John Ellison Conlee from Boardwalk Empire, Bobby Steggert from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,...

Even Griffin, an outspoken Republican who previously served in Trump’s White House, voted for a Democrat for the first time in her life.
“I consider my vote a loan to her,” Griffin said about voting for Harrris. “I worry the direction that Donald Trump will take this country, and I take my own warning seriously.

Parker Schnabel is not one to rest on his laurels. With gold pricing reaching new heights, the franchise’s 29-year-old king of the Klondike looks to break more records during Season 15 of Gold Rush. He took the biggest bet of his career leveraging everything to buy the Dominion Creek claim. The big risk so far has paid out. Despite collecting more than 63,000 ounces of gold worth $98 million thus far, Schnabel could see massive potential for more. That more is to the tune of $200 million within the grounds! To achieve what he wants for his operation overall, he needs to get to at least 10,000 ounces per season over six years. It’s about keeping the momentum going and not faltering, which could lead to drowning in mounting debt from the acquisition. A lofty goal that puts immense pressure on the crew including Mitch Blaschke and Tyson Lee to deliver the goods.

John Oliver stopped by “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Monday, with the “Last Week Tonight” host addressing the viral video in which he urged his viewers to vote for Kamala Harris.
Oliver made headlines with his plea to voters, appearing to fight back tears as he told those watching “Look, I love this country. I’m an immigrant. I chose to be here” and that he would be voting for Vice President Harris.

Lady Gaga fans who were wondering what song she would pull out for Kamala Harris’ final rally in Philadelphia Monday night got a song arguably even more glorious than “Edge of Glory” — Irving Berlin’s “God Bless America” — to preface the candidate’s speech. But she didn’t let down those who wanted to hear her own inspirational anthem, returning after Harris’ climactic speech to indeed belt out “Edge of Glory” as the clock struck 12 and election day officially arrived.
“For more than half of this country’s life, women didn’t have a voice,” Gaga said in introducing “God Bless America...

In his last show before election day, Seth Meyers took aim at Republican politicians for the tactics they’re using to support Donald Trump as the race nears its end.
“This is how they are choosing to end their campaign: unhinged allegations of cheating, whining about comedy shows, floating plans to ban vaccines, and threatening to retaliate against enemies, outlaw polls and penalize speech they don’t like,” the “Late Night” host said during his signature “A Closer Look” segment. “Trump is not being subtle about the threat he poses. He’s dangerous.”

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for NCIS Season 22 Episode 4, “Sticks & Stones.”] If only … That’s pretty much where NCIS leaves Palmer (Brian Dietzen) and Knight’s (Katrina Law) relationship in the latest episode. Following their breakup, the two haven’t talked since she returned to D.C. at the beginning of the season—until they’re stuck in a camper together, making their way back to headquarters only to be told they couldn’t get in due to conflict with the FBI. (Long story short: The team stopped a potential Wwiii by refusing to follow orders.) It’s here we learn he’s on a dating app. While they still love each other—and both say those words—it’s not enough. He says she deserves someone who will chase down future job opportunities around the world with her and leave at a moment’s notice, and that’s not him, at least not now.

This week on CBS’ NCIS, Parker, Torres, McGee and Kasie teamed up to prevent a literal World War III, while Jessica and Jimmy dealt with equally weighty matters — the status of their relationship.
To quickly summarize the A-story of “Sticks & Stones,” which was quite… atypical… for NCIS, with its allusion to real-world military conflicts: It fell on Parker’s team to decode the location of three mobile missile launchers that Belarus has aimed at unknown European targets. Once identified, the U.S. might go so far as to fire precise nukes at the three locations. Along the way, Kasie received a second coded transmission,...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 5 Episode 6 “Naked Truth.”] “She has been through enough!” So says Gina Torres (rightfully so!) about her character, Tommy, on 9-1-1: Lone Star. The latest episode, as the Fox drama reaches the halfway point of its fifth and final season, begins with Tommy calling Nancy (Brianna Baker) into her office to discuss a nude photo she accidentally sent to the group chat; the paramedic captain spotted a concerning lump. Nancy then revealed to Mateo (Julian Works) that she does have reason to be worried: her family history. Her great aunt, grandmother, and mother died of breast cancer. Even before getting the mammogram, Nancy had resigned herself to thinking she had cancer, Baker tells TV Insider as part of our 9-1-1: Lone Star aftershow, First Response, with her and Torres this week. “I think it’s the thing that’s been haunting you and you’re always just ...

9-1-1: Lone Star‘s Tommy Vega has always seemed strong enough to handle anything, a belief that’s being put to the test once again. Monday’s episode ended with Gina Torres’ character revealing through tears that her doctor has found something “bad” on her latest mammogram.
This devastating turns of events was into motion, oddly enough, when Nancy accidentally texted a naughty photo of herself to everyone in the 126. Nancy and Mateo managed to keep most of their coworkers from seeing it, but she knew the jig was up when Tommy called her into her office. Rather than getting punished,...
