Bred and nurtured in Hanoi, Vietnam. Moved to Los Angeles in 2015 to run away from communism and pursue the mythological American dream. Since graduating college in 2018, Vu has been working as a sound editor, re-recording mixer and field recordist alongside many giants of the industry. Movies and TV shows he's worked on have received national and international recognition; and have been played in museums, festivals and a wide range of other formats across the globe.
He is known for his works on Extraction (2020), Deadly Class (2019), The Act (2019) and Mosul (2020).
