Justin Korovkin

Born in Orvieto, Italy (2007) to Canadian/Italian parents, Justin Alexander Korovkin is an Italian/Canadian citizen. Being fully bilingual he has played either leading or supporting roles in both English-language and Italian-language dramatic feature films. He is known for D'Innocenzo brothers' "Favolacce"/ "Bad Tales" (Berlin, Silver Bear, 2020), R. De Feo's "The Nest" (Locarno Festival, 2019) and C. Hintermann's, Terrence Malick's executive-produced "The Book of Vision" (Venice, International Film Critic's Week, 2020; London City Film Jury Award: Best Feature Film). In "The Nest" He played both leitmotif piano pieces, recorded live on set. For his role in "Favolacce" Justin arrived to the top three finalists for the Italian PEF (Premio Ennio Fantastichini) for best emerging actor. Justin lives in Italy with his mother, visual artist and contemporary art historian Stephanie Morin and father, anthropologist and poet-novelist Michael Korovkin. He is of French (Norman/Breton), German (Bohemian), Hungarian, Jewish, Russian, and Spanish descent. He is represented in Italy by Planet Film and in Los Angeles by AKA Talent Agency.
