Sean Andrew Murray

Sean Andrew Murray is an award-winning concept artist, visual development artist and illustrator. He is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in illustration. As a concept artist in the video game industry, Sean has worked on projects such as Lord of the Rings Online, Dungeons and Dragons Online, and Kingdoms of Amalur. As a concept and storyboard artist in the film and television industry, he has worked on various projects with directors such as Sylvain White (Slenderman,) Travis Beacham (The Curiosity,) Kyle Balda (Minions 2,) Darren Aronofsky (unannounced Netflix project,) and Guillermo Del Toro (Carnival Row, Trollhunters, 3 Below, Wizards, and Rise of the Titans.) His work has been commissioned for numerous game and comic projects such as Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, Sideshow Collectibles' Court of the Dead, DC Comics' Sandman: The House of Whispers, and more recently The Book of Lorath for the popular video game Diablo IV. Sean won the Spectrum Gold Award for concept art in 2016 for his work on Court of the Dead, and he won the 2020 Concept Art Award in the category of "Best Environment Art for a Live-Action TV Series."
