Symera Jackson

Symera Jackson is an actress who has been working in television, commercials and voiceover since the age of 9. Born and raised in Los Angeles, the biracial teen is best known for her series regular role as Jackie Murphy in the hit Netflix series, Team Kaylie (2019). She can also be seen on Dick Wolf's NBC drama series Chicago Fire (2012), Disney's Sydney to the Max (2019), and ABC's Alex, Inc. (2018). Symera is also featured in the Emmy Award winning and harrowing short film recognized as Outstanding Commercial for Sandy Hook Promise's "Back-To-School Essentials" PSA.
Symera loves musical theater and began performing at age 5 when she was inspired by a "princess" who came to her birthday party as Sleeping Beauty. From then on, she has played numerous roles in children's theater and professional regional productions at Glendale Centre Theatre. Outside of acting, Symera enjoys reading, Muay Thai, swimming, bike riding, hula hooping and aerial silks.
