Ben "Boony" started doing musical theatre on stage at age 7. When he turned 12, he was cast in Moonrise Kingdom as a boy scout and had the unique opportunity to sit on a bus with director Wes Anderson while he talked to a small group about the scene. It was really that moment of being on set and talking with Wes Anderson that made him want to go into film.

This lead to his starting a company where he made montage's and charity videos for friends which led to corporate videos, then to making his own films.

Boony's first film, It's Your Life was accepted at multiple festivals and won best youth film in two festivals. His next film, 'Roll Call' won best picture and was nominated in multiple festivals. Next, 'Widdershins" was Nominated for an Emerson College Evvy Award and was a finalist in the Colorado CHFF. His latest film, a music video titled 'In Between' was accepted to multiple festivals, including 2 finalist, 3 semi-finalist, and 2 honorable mention selections.

May-October '22, Boony worked for M3 Creative as their Staff Production Assistant. M3 is an award-winning video, digital, and film studio based in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in client-focused production for companies such as Disney+, Marvel Studios, Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon, Warner Bros. Discovery, LucasFilm, ESPN, DreamWorks, and much more!

Jan-August '23, Boony is a Production Coordinator at Warner Bros. Discovery, specifically for Bleacher Report and The Creator League.

Now, Boony is working at the offices of Unsolved Mysteries as their Production Coordinator on various projects. Independently, he is a director, producer, casting director, DP, actor, and singer.
