Lily Wahlsteen

Lily Wahlsteen is a movie-, TV and theatre actress born in Stockholm, Sweden on May 31st 2006. Lily debuted on Swedish national TV at the age of eight starring as Siri in the acclaimed TV-series Min bror kollokungen (2015). Lily then started a busy career as one of Swedens most in demand young actors.
In 2015 Lily starred as Linnea in two seasons of TV4's TV-series Modus (2015). Lily made her stage acting debut in Mio Min Mio at Stockholms Stadsteater in 2016 which led to her lead role in the musical Fun Home where she played the young Alison Bechdel. In 2018/2019 Lily played the lead part as Annie in "Annie the musical" at Nöjesteatern in Malmö and Lorenzbergsteatern in Gothenburg.
In 2018 Lily got the part as Sofie in the Swedish cinema classic Sune with three movies produced. Sune vs. Sune (2018) 2018, Sune - Best Man (2019) 2019 and Sune - Uppdrag: Midsommar (2021) 2021. Sune Best Man was nominated in three categories in 2020's edition of Guldbaggen among them best movie. In 2020 Lily played the supporting part as the monster Roberta in the movie Nelly Rapp: Monster Agent (2020). Academy award nominees Love Larson and Eva Von Bahr created Roberta's mask, the most advanced mask ever put on a European child actor. The film was later awarded best mask in the Swedish Guldbaggen awards. In the fall of 2020 Lily worked with CMore in the TV-series Bert (2021) where she played one of the lead roles as Tora, critically acclaimed as the cool K-pop/punk kid who challenges the somewhat stereotype narrative of the original version of Bert.
In 2021 Lily has again worked with SVT, playing one of the lead roles as Alex in the popular TV-series Otajmat (2021).
Lily Wahlsteen has represented both Sune Best Man and Nelly Rapp at the Berlinale.
