A Canadian filmmaker and DIY artist living in Los Angeles, her films stand out by capturing the complexities of human connection with carefully casted ensembles and striking imagery. Meghan's first feature film The Influencer was distributed in the US and internationally in 2020 by Breaking Glass Pictures. LunchboxVHS recently released a limited 50 copy press of the film on VHS solidifying the film's cult status. The film can be found streaming on platforms including Tubi and Roku.
She has produced several independent feature films, including 2021's The Djinn which was distributed by IFC Films/IFC Midnight, released theatrically and is streaming on Showtime and Shudder. Top critic Kimber Myers described it as an "82-minute class on how to make an unnerving film on the cheap."
She directed and co-produced her second feature film, Healed, for Thornbyrd Films in 2021, which stars LGBTQ-film icon Guinevere Turner (The L Word, American Psycho) and Todd Lowe (True Blood, Gilmore Girls). The film was awarded the coveted ReFrame Stamp from The Sundance Institute. Film Threat recently gave the film a 9/10 rating and called it a "superior high-kicking tingler that will shiver you to the core."
In early 2023 her mystery-thriller script Self Tape won the Slated.com Film Accelerator, bringing Slated's Executive Producer team on board to help package talent, finance and distribute the film.
Meghan is also a partner and CEO of Wizard Cats, a boutique color correction and post-production house in Downtown Los Angeles. Their clients range from indie filmmakers to companies like Nike, Jordan Shoes, Masterclass, North Six and Southern California Edison.
