Burcu Emeç is a queer Kurdish intimacy coordinator certified by SAG-AFTRA accredited Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (U.S.) and Intimacy Coordinators Canada. She began her career as a theatre performer and director and has since worked across theatre, film, and TV. Burcu trained with HBO's Lead Intimacy Coordinator Alicia Rodis (The Deuce, Insecure, High Maintenance), the first to be hired by a major network, and Claire Warden (Three Women, Gossip Girl), the first intimacy professional on Broadway. Drawing from her experience on stage and on camera, Burcu brings over 15 years of diverse storytelling and a robust background in movement to support actors and directors alike. She has a complementary background in mental health that serves as a valuable resource to productions.
