Blair (they/she) is a seasoned casting professional with 10 years experience in the film and television industry and multiple Artios Award nominations for their work as an Associate Casting Director. They have cast 100 projects across 15 states. In 2022, they founded Namaste Casting to focus on inclusivity, accessibility, and authentic representation in casting. They believe this focus must extend to crew and on-set conditions in order to achieve equity.
Blair's career is notable for her love of and work with southern-born and based actors, as well as her expertise with national talent searches. After studying film at Elon University, Blair was hired by Emmy award-winning CD, Tracy Kilpatrick/The Casting Office, for the James Brown biopic, Get On Up, in Natchez, MS in 2013. Blair then had the pleasure to learn from and work alongside Tracy for 8 years.
Blair joined the CSA in 2016 where she is a member of the Equity in Entertainment Committee, Regional Casting Committee, and a co-founder of IN HOUSE, a TNB2S Affinity Group for casting professionals. In 2023, she participated in the inaugural CSA Associate Casting Director/CP Mentorship program.
Blair identifies as a queer, nonbinary woman. They are an avid trail runner, tarot reader, yogi, and printmaker. They strive to be an open BIPOC ally, advocate for the d/Disability community, and supporter of queer spaces in the south.
