From a young age Deanna had an interest in sound. Starting off with
music, she took singing lessons and taught herself the basics of piano.
Unsatisfied, she took an internship at a recording studio in downtown
Toronto. This is where she fell in love with the art of sound in films
and decided it was what she wanted to do. Deanna went to Humber College
in Toronto for Film and Television Production majoring in sound. During
her time there she worked on multiple student films in the sound
department.
