Michael Thor Love

Formally Meisner trained and a Method Acting convert, Michael Thor Love uses a mix of the two techniques to bring authenticity to even his most challenging roles in TV series, film and on stage. The common thread to all the characters for which Michael has been cast, is strength and passion. Regardless of whether on film, stage or TV, Michael organically imparts resilience and sincerity to all his characters.

Michael began his training at the University of Massachusetts- Boston where he was a theater major. He started his study of Meisner by completing the summer program at The William Esper Studios. He was selected for the a 2-conservatory program at The Neighborhood Playhouse and graduated in 2012. Michael continued his formal training with Susanne Shepard, while he worked on perfecting his art by accepting roles in re-enactments and short films many of which were featured in film festivals.
In Michael's debut appearance in a feature film, he starred as Mr Dicaro, the S.I.D. (Sadistic, Intelligent and Dangerous) mobster in Reserved Notes (2013), Deniran production. He followed that with a supporting role as Officer Daniels with Kenneth McGregor and Raymond Turturro in Hobo Heyseus (2014), a Jon Russel Cring Production. Michael is wrapping on Daddy's Girl (2016), a Blinky Productions, in which he is an widower, alcoholic, protective father.
Michael is an artist by nature and an accomplished design builder and master carpenter. He is just shy of completing his pilot's license. He is an avid scuba diver and a licensed sky diver. Michael is disciplined and dedicated to a natural healthy life.
