Fernando Hart(I)

Fernando Hart is a Brazilian director and cinematographer based in Auckland. In his formative years he did pretty much anything the industry threw at him, from first AD to cinematographer to editor to director to producer across film and TV, advertising and corporate. This curious mix was the perfect framework for a role as Head of Content Production at statewide network TVE RS. After a couple of years producing and directing long-form TV shows and live broadcasts, Fernando left TVE RS to work in advertising. He also partnered with Avante Filmes for a series of projects including Beira Mar (Sea Shore) selected for the 2015 Berlin Film Festival, and A Ballet Dialogue, which screened at the Short Film Corner at Cannes 2012, and 35 subsequent film festivals. He is a strong all rounder and a dab hand in the edit suite when required. He's at his best directing with a rich visual aesthetic, making him a great fit for projects that require a sensitive eye and a deft touch with talent.
