Brian Colin Foley was born in Phoenix, Arizona, but grew up in Glen Rock, New Jersey. Following a great deal of involvement in secondary and high school theater, he attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. There Brian earned a bachelor's degree in International Affairs, but an enduring passion for the performing arts led him to pursue an acting career over political science. After graduating from JMU, Brian studied overseas at Prague Film School. As a result of his studies in Prague, he was cast in Bong Joon Ho's contemporary sci-fi cult classic Snowpiercer (2013) right out of film school. Shortly after that, Brian began auditioning in New York City, where he studied under late actor and mentor, Clark Middleton, who helped him hone his on-camera craft.
Brian wrote, directed, and starred in the sports comedy Chronicles of Gnarnia: The Rex Chadwick Story (2020), which was recognized with multiple awards by the likes of the Los Angeles Film Awards, New York International Film Awards, Vegas Movie Awards, and many others. After collecting numerous film and TV credits, he was cast in the true crime biopic Miranda's Victim (2023), directed by Michelle Danner, which opened the 38th edition of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival to a sold-out reception.
