April Lasky was born January 15th, 1989 in Clinton, NJ. She has worked with acclaimed director Steven Soderbergh on multiple projects including his most recent Presence (2024) and for A24's Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022) directed by Halina Reijn. She loves history and storytelling through a lens that evokes questions about time and humanity. She enjoys working on her vintage truck, woodworking, riding her motorcycle and hiking in national parks.
