Helen Glover was born on 17 June 1986 in Truro, Cornwall, England, UK. She has been married to Steve Backshall since 10 September 2016. They have three children.
She was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2013 Queen's New Years Honours List for her services to Rowing. She is a rower in Women's Pairs.
