Heléna Antonio is an International Award-Winning Film Director, Producer and Actress, born in Italy, and grown up between Italy and Spain.
Her latest credits include the American TV Series 'FBI International' on CBS, the Netflix TV Series 'Supersex', and 'Tutti a Bordo', directed by Golden Globe Winning Director Luca Miniero.
Heléna is the founder of London based Production Company Nymeria Films, through which she produced her debut Feature Film as Director, 'Blurred', which she wrote, directed, produced and also starred in it. 'Blurred' is currently in Post-Production and release is expected for late Spring 2025.
Heléna's first film behind the camera, '2020', which she wrote, directed and produced, was screened at International Film Festivals, including the Venice Film Festival and won 'Best Short Film' at the 72th edition of the prestigious Montecatini Film Festival, along with several awards and received highly positive reviews by critics.
Heléna has recently directed 'Internal Abyss', a film about emotional abuse, which aims to raise awareness towards such important topic. The film is currently in the Festivals circuit and has already received Honourable Mentions at BIFA qualifying Film Festivals, and also nominated at the Royal Television Society Awards 2024 - North East and the Borders.
Heléna is currently focused on five areas: Writing, Producing, Directing, Acting and Film Investments.
She works mostly in the UK, Italy and Spain, and speaks English, Italian, Spanish and French.
Heléna works internationally, currently based in London, developing new projects to be produced from 2025 onward.
