Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Perrie Voss is a multi-hat-wearing filmmaker, an award-winning screenwriter, picture editor, producer, and Canadian Screen Awards nominated actor. Most notably, Perrie co-wrote, co-produced, co-starred, and co-edited 2 seasons of Avocado Toast the series, based on her real-life story and experiences. It is airing on OUTtv, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV , and more globally. Most recently, Perrie co-created her second series, Stories from My Gay Grandparents, which premiered at Inside Out in Toronto in May 2024. She also edited, starred and associate produced 'Really Happy Someday', which had its world premiere at TIFF 2024.
Perrie is a horseback rider, cyclist, downhill skier, runner, and visual artist.
After graduating from the esteemed Classical Conservatory program at George Brown Theatre School in Toronto she spent the first 10 years as a professional actor on stage. As a filmmaker, Perrie focuses on telling stories with diverse and underrepresented narratives, especially female-led and LGBTQ2IA projects.
