Mícheál Óg Lane is a talented Irish actor hailing from Galway, recognized for his dynamic performances in both film and television. He gained widespread attention for his portrayal of Eugene in the critically acclaimed film The Guard (2011), and later for his role as Micheál in Calvary (2014), both starring alongside renowned actor Brendan Gleeson.
A graduate of Bow Street Academy-The National Screen Acting School of Ireland (Class of 2022). He starred in the short film Fairview Park, which was funded by the BFI Network and premiered at the Galway Film Festival.
Mícheál will appear in the psychological horror The Damned (2024), directed by Thordur Palsson, co-starring Odessa Young and Joe Cole. The film made its debut at the Tribeca Festival in New York City. He also had a feature role in Fréwaka, an Irish-language horror directed by Aislinn Clarke, which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland.
