Maya Erskine was born on 7 May 1987 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She is an actress and writer, known for PEN15 (2019), Blue Eye Samurai (2023) and Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024). She is married to Michael Angarano. They have two children.

Her father is American, jazz drummer <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0259864/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Peter Erskine</a>. Her mother is Japanese, from Tokyo.

Graduated from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as a Theatre major and from NYU&#39;s Tisch School of the Arts.
