Douglas Kampner
- Actor
- Producer
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Douglas Kampner's family moved to
Hillsborough, California where they lived two houses away from
Hollywood icon Bing Crosby. He became a vendor at Candlestick Park
selling hot dogs, peanuts and souvenirs at San Francisco Giant and 49er
games to be closer to live sports action. Douglas was introduced to
actor/producer Mel Brooks and actor Gene Wilder at actor Dick Van
Patten's house in Burbank and was inspired to pursue his passion for
acting. His first acting role was a life guard on the hit show "Bay
Watch". It was this experience that began Doug's desire to become an
actor. Since those early acting days Douglas' resume has grown to
include stints on Glee, The West Wing, Cheers, 90210 and Rizzoli and
Isles. His hobbies include oil painting, music, golf and he is a
professional blackjack dealer for parties and charity events in the Los
Angeles area. Weekends Douglas can be found volunteering at the Los
Angeles County Museum of Art.
