Frequently referred to as a "chameleon" and "transformer" Jonathan David Dixon is a member of the acclaimed Theaterwork company in Santa Fe, where he has played roles ranging from Mark Twain and Dietrich Bonhoeffer, to Vincent Van Gogh, to Federico Garcia Lorca.
Born outside Washington, D.C., he has also lived in Southern California, York (U.K.), Minnesota, and Oregon.
In addition to his work as an actor in film and theater, he is also a published artist and illustrator; a composer who has written songs and music for a number of plays and is recording a collection of his own songs with his band, the Other Selves; a sometime writer of short plays and film scripts; and a licensed counselor who has worked in the domestic violence field, with a special interest in creativity and spirituality.
