Anthony has three sons. He is happily married and lives in the west of Ireland.

In his late twenties, Anthony discovered he was related to David Kelly, at his brothers funeral. After a long conversation with David, Anthony discovered why he yearned to be an actor.

Anthony trained at The Liberties College, Bull Alley, Dublin, Ireland.

Anthony drove a taxi in Dublin while training as an actor. He found if you want to learn about people and what makes them tick, there's no better training than inside a taxi. A qualified chef, Anthony also says if you want to learn about yourself there is no where better than under pressure in a busy kitchen.

Anthony is a member of the Irish Kennel club and Irish wolfhound Society Of Ireland. He has bread a number of Irish champions.
