Juan Irache studied Audiovisual
Communication and Cinema Directing in Barcelona. His first work as
director was "Rivas de Banda" (2005), a musical documentary awarded in
festivals such as Espiello and broadcast on Aragon TV. Afterwards, he
directeded many short films with low budgets ("Dadme un punto de
apoyo", "Justicia circular", "Cambio de chaqueta") that were selected and
awarded in several festivals. "Mecanoscrit v2.1", his first 35mm work,
has been selected in more than 20 Spanish and international festivals.
