Jamal Wade is a dancer, actor, and award nominated director from Baton Rouge. Jamal began his formal career as a dancer training on scholarship with the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre while attending Baton Rouge High. At that time, he was performing in local productions with Debbie Allen, New Venture Theatre, and Of Moving Colors Dance Company. In 2012, Jamal moved to Los Angeles to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy where he earned his BFA in Dance Theatre. He has worked with artists like Beyonce, Swae Lee, Snoop Dog, and P!nk. He has also appeared in advertisements for Chevy, Burger King, Toyota, Sprite and Old Navy. His choreography/movement direction credits include Krewella, Ambre, Josh Dean, and Ari Lennox. Jamal made his directorial debut directing the music video "American Dream" by Willie Jones, which was nominated for Video of the Year at the 54th CMT Country Music Awards. He continues to work and train in Los Angeles, and doing youth outreach in performing arts.
