Shannon Lechner(I)

Shannon Lechner was born and raised in Rochester, NY the 2nd oldest of 11 children. She attended RIT and studied and received a BS degree in Film & Video. She started working as a producer & editor in corporate video in State College, PA for 4 years. She then moved out to Los Angeles where she worked in Documentary-Reality TV for several years & did research for several National Geographic shows & worked on Sweet Home Alabama. Upon moving to North Carolina she worked as a freelance producer; for the TRU anti-smoking commercials, UNCC, Speed Channel & Raggs TV. She started working in Locations on the Pilot & Season 2 of Homeland, Banshee & Hunger Games. Her love for the locations department has continued for 12 years in Boston where she worked on (Oscar Winners) Little Women & Manchester-by-the Sea, the Equalizer, The Forger, Cadaver and City on a Hill. Her passion for photography, scuba diving and travel has brought her to over 50 countries and 6 continents. She is currently filming & editing a documentary series for Start-Up Cuba for VERV.TV.
