- Animation Department
Raised in Eureka as the daughter of a graphic designer and a master
sign painter, her career path was sealed. Leaving home to pursue an
education and career in costume design/pattern drafting, she eventually
changed her career focus to train in Technical theater at California
State University Long Beach under the tutelage of Herb Camburn and did
scenic art for theater in the Los Angles and Sacramento areas in her
early career. She now calls the Los Angles area home as do other famous
Eurekan's (Mike Patton, Sara Bareilles, Ethan Marak, Trey Spruance). In
the past she has worked for a variety of entertainment related
production facilities. She is skilled in the art of mixing black light
colors for specialty scenic effects. Work primarily covers the areas of
theme park rides, museum installations, public works projects
(libraries and art installation), and most recently (2011) audio
animatronic installations. Recently she began a new career line in stop
motion animation. Her favorite paint is made by Modern Masters.
