Simone Falso was born in Padua in 1975. He studied painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice and the Hoch Schule der Kunst in Berlin; in 2002 he moved to London where he worked as a photographer and made various video productions in the role of director of photography. He lived in Berlin from 2004 to 2007, where he continued his artistic research combining photography and painting. His photos have been published in The Times and in numerous books and periodicals such as Internazionale and L'Espresso. Since 2010 he has devoted himself mainly to cinema, as assistant director, director of photography and still photographer.
