Gabe Nunez is a professional stuntman and stunt coordinator, born and raised in Northeast El Paso, TX. After graduating from Irvin High School he attended NMSU, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. With his mind made up, and no real back up plan in place, he made his way to the City of Angels to chase his Hollywood dreams of working in movies.
His first film was Adam Sandler's You Don't Mess With the Zohan, and since 2007 he has had the amazing opportunity to help bring action to life in over 70 feature films and television shows. He has doubled Taylor Lautner in films such as Tracers and Ridiculous Six, Colin Farrell in Total Recall, Shah Rukh Khan in Ra.One, and more recently Tony Dalton in Better Call Saul.
Gabe has had the privilege of working alongside Hollywood's best stuntmen and women as well as training actors such as Jaden Smith, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Biel, Colin Farrell, Taylor Lautner, Izabella Miko, and Marie Avgeropoulos.
While building his stunt resume, Gabe continued to push his Freerunning abilities to new heights and in 2007, he co-founded Tempest Freerunning. Tempest is now the most decorated pro freerunning team in the world and the force behind the Tempest Freerunning Academies, with locations in California and Texas.
Gabe has also directed music videos for himself and artists like Johnny Smoke and Varnell Hill, who align with his vision to offer more action & storytelling through their visuals. As a partner/artist with indie record label DEAD END KIDS (DEK), Gabe is constantly looking for ways to combine his experience in action films with his love for music.
Gabe stunt coordinated the latest Apple commercial for the iPad Pro. Most recently Gabe has been Assistant Coordinating on HBO's Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty
