Born and raised in Reykjavík, Iceland. Spent half his life in and around New York City, mostly in advertising as an award-winning Creative Director.
Got into acting sideways. On a goof. Found out he was a natural (all the BS in the ad business will develop one's acting chops).
Honed his skills with the likes of the late Bill Esper (William Esper Studio), Patrick Page (Patrick Page Studio), Jordan Lage (Atlantic Acting School), Seth Barrish (The Barrow Group), and Rich Topol (ESPA/Primary Stages); at the Upright Citizens Brigade; and New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts
