- Legal
Noël Lohr has worked in the industry for over 30 years in a variety of business and legal capacities. She has negotiated and managed complex corporate and finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate debt and equity financing, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, single picture debt facilities and equity investments, P&A investments and "slate" production credit facilities and investment structures. She has represented lenders and borrowers, investors and companies seeking investment, and management. She also has experience structuring independent filmed entertainment companies and managing their operations, including developing and implementing business plans, project analysis and modeling, structuring and green-lighting projects, and supervising preproduction, production and distribution. Noël counsels independent filmed entertainment production companies and independent filmed entertainment financiers on a wide range of matters. She views her role to be that of "counselor" in the true sense of the word, whether it is working with a client to close a deal, providing a client with advice on a strategic, business or legal issue, assisting a client in developing its business plan or goals or facilitating an introduction for the client within the industry. Her goal is to provide her clients with "big firm" quality legal representation with the added insight and practicality of an experienced business executive and the nimbleness of a "indie" service provider. Previously, Noël was Of Counsel to Raines Feldman LLP in Century City, the Managing Director of Incentive Filmed Entertainment, LLC, and the General Counsel of Intermedia Film. Prior to those positions, Noël practiced with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP and White & Case, LLP.
