Welton Thomas Pitchford(I)
- Actor
- Director
- Writer
Welton Thomas Pitchford has performed all over the country, from the
Metropolitan Opera House to the Hollywood Bowl, as an Actor, Singer,
Dancer and Master of Ceremonies.
While earning his Theatre Art Degree at California State University, Fullerton, Welton leaped, kicked and sang as a Fork in over 2,000 performances of Disney's Beauty and the Beast Stage Show at Disneyland. (Allegedly there are videos of him floating around on YouTube.)
After graduating with an emphasis in acting, Welton literally hung up his dance shoes to continue study on his core passion. Since then, he has received critical acclaim and theater league recognition for his work as a professional actor, including LA Stage Alliance Ovation Award, NAACP Theatre Award and Inland Theatre League Award nods.
In addition to playing a cunning music mogul, flamboyant secretary, sex-crazed nitwit, dancing fork, and jilted mama's boy in National Tours and on dozens of stages across the country, Welton has enjoyed significant film and television success. Some of his Indie Film work has received praise at the Cannes International Film Festival and the New York International Independent Film Festival.
Welton is a recurring guest artist at several theater companies in Los Angeles and holds 7 Best Actor Awards from television, film and theater Casting Directors for his work in the prestigious Theatre Neo Monologue Festivals.
Welton fearlessly climbs to new theatrical heights and seems to gravitate towards fresh and innovative projects as his career continually grows.
