Fernando Viquez is an award-winning producer, editor and visual artist experienced and working in film, television and digital media. Over his career, Fernando has received several industry awards - including a Grammy nomination for his collaboration as an Associate Producer/Editor on Gloria Estefan's 'Don't Stop' worldwide release.
Viquez collaborated on the critically-acclaimed films The Bestowal and Paper Dragons as film editor. He also collaborated on Grammy-winning artist John Legend's music video for Surefire, which won a VMA in the debut category for Best Fight Against The System at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. Other notable recent projects are short documentary subjects for the motion pictures Just Mercy and BlacKkKlansman, which won a CLIO Bronze Award (for 60 Second Docs).
Viquez is also a Project Involve Fellow (2014) - FILM INDEPENDENT's emerging filmmakers signature program and is a Mentor in the Producers Guild of America (PGA) Power of Diversity Workshop (2020) and select participant in the PGA's Film Basecamp program (2020-2021).
