A Master of Fine Arts in Film Production and Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, Jason Karman's films travel internationally, focusing on the Asian diaspora and LGBT experience. His short film, Lions in Waiting, was selected by Telefilm Canada's Not Short on Talent at Clermont- Ferrand in 2018 and screened at BFI Flare 2018. His debut feature Golden Delicious is supported by Telefilm Canada's Talent to Watch program and was filmed in March 2021 at the height of the pandemic. Jason's next feature projects are with writer Norman Y. Li and Joëlle Anthony.
