Pamela is a Toronto-based freelance Line Producer and Production
Manager; She attended the University of Waterloo studying English and
Psychology, and attended Fanshawe College's Television Broadcasting
Program.
Pamela started her career working with advertising agencies starting as a coordinator and quickly moving up to agency producer. After winning numerous awards she was head hunted to work with other agencies including Grey Worldwide, FCB and Cossette. Her agency work lead to an opportunity to move to Los Angeles to work on the hit show "The OC" shot in Malibu. Pamela worked with the Director as an assistant for one season. From Los Angeles Pamela moved to the Cayman Islands to work on a feature film for 2 years as an Assistant Producer.
On returning to Toronto Pamela partnered up with DP Vinit Borrison, who is now her husband. With Nick Sorbara at the helm, a Toronto-based production company was created. After purchasing the first two Red One Cameras in Toronto the business took off and Redlab Digital was created. Redlab is now the most highly sought after post-production facilities for sound & VFX in Toronto.
Pamela was also one of the first females D.I.T.s in IATSE 667. She has worked side by side on features with Kevin Smith's long time DP David Klein - known for True Blood and Homeland, Kees Van Oostrum the President of American Society of Cinematographers, civil war films Director Ron Maxwell and 8 time Emmy Award winning Director/DP Scott Duncan.
Pamela is currently working in Television Development, Commercial Production and Television Production.
