Morgan Kelly is a distinguished professional in Animation and Previsualization. His career spans some of the most acclaimed projects in animation and visual effects, including his recent roles as a Previsualization Artist with Marvel Studios on the Disney+ series What If...? and Netflix's The Magician's Elephant.
Morgan launched his career as a Character Animator on several Academy Award-recognized films, including the Oscar-winning Zootopia and the Oscar-nominated Moana, How to Train Your Dragon and Shrek 2. He also served as Animation Supervisor for Madagascar 3, collaborating with the India-based animation team, and as Head of Layout for the animated feature Dream Defenders.
In addition to his contributions to feature animation, Morgan was part of the Emmy Award-winning Previsualization VFX team for Game of Thrones, working on location in Belfast, Ireland. The show captivated audiences worldwide with its groundbreaking visual effects.
Morgan is a graduate of the prestigious California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) with a degree in Film/Video Character Animation, and also an educator. He has taught at CalArts, Gnomon, Animation Mentor and as an adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Southern California's School of Cinema.
